Der NUCS kam mit der ersten BIOS-Version und unterstützt In-Band-ECC, wie auf anandtech. com beschrieben. Genau deshalb habe ich mich für dieses NUC (Klone) entschieden und bin bislang äußerst zufrieden. Sollte es 5 Jahre lang halten, bleibt dies auch so.

Die Lüftersteuerung des NUC ist im BIOS stark eingeschränkt: nur Zieltemperatur und Kennlinie wählbar. Selbst bei maximaler Zieltemperatur (65 °C) und der niedrigsten Kennlinie (1) läuft der Lüfter noch mit ~2. 600 U/min, was einen hohen Lautstärkepegel.

Leider funktionierte die Einrichtung von Proxmox auf diesem neuen Gerät nicht, obwohl alles auf dem neuesten Stand war. Erst nachdem ich auf den originalen Intel NUC umgestiegen bin, lief alles reibungslos. Ein kurioses Problem, das mich enttäuscht hat.
